This site is the product of two discoveries. The first was a glut of archival material on unknown organizations, and the second is kepler.gl. I decided to combine the two by presenting communist front organizations to Cold War historians et al. in a suitable but unconventional medium. Data remain to be entered, and I welcome whatever visitors may be able to offer to help fill in the gaps (send to nrutter@fairfield.edu).
I earned my Ph.D. in History from Yale University in 2013, and have taught it at Fairfield University since.
